Trust In Him

Romans 8:32

The past few weeks we have discovered the tremendous love that God has for His children through the life, death, and resurrection of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. It amazes us to realize the extent of God’s provisions and blessings.  Our Scripture today teaches us that we can depend on God for our wellbeing both now and forevermore.

1                    Confusion

We are living in a time when so many people are distraught and confused about life. People really do not know what to do, where to turn to, or who to trust.  People today have no problem in telling you that they will do something and be responsible when they know they have no intentions whatsoever to be accountable to anyone.  How many times have you been told someone will return your call and never hear from that person until you call them back again and again? People tell you they will do certain things and those things never get done. People give you a date that you expect them to honor and that date never comes to be. No wonder people are frustrated and discouraged in life.

Who do you believe?

Who can you trust?

2                    Count On Him

You can depend on God. You can count on His loving provision as a fact because you know how much He gave to solve the greatest problem you have, the sin that separated you from His presence. The Word says, “But your iniquities have separated you from God; your sins have hidden His face from you, so that He will not hear.” (Isaiah 59:2) The Father understood your deep need to have a relationship with Him, so He gave no less than the One whose name is far above every name that is named, His only Son, Jesus. (Ephesians 1:21) If He would give His own precious Son so that you could know Him, why would you doubt that he would want to help you with your every need? Your problems matter to Him because they mean so much to you and He loves you. Our Scripture today says, “He who did not spare His own son, but gave Him up for us all---how will He not also, along with Him, graciously give us all things?” (Romans 8:32)

How has God helped you through your problems?

Do you trust the Lord with all your heart?

3                    Confidence

The wonderful truth of life is this, the Almighty God of all creation, The Great I Am, The King of Kings; The Lord of Lords loves you. Your Savior and Lord is totally committed to you because you are one of His precious children. So listen to Him and trust Him to help you with whatever you need in your life. Lord help us to learn to rely on you completely and seek you at all times!
